On Wednesday 22 June 2022, 13:30-17:00 (EEST)/12:30-16:00 (CET), the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Bulgaria, national coordinator of Common Maritime Agenda (CMA) and the Marine Cluster Bulgaria (MCB) in its capacity of CMA National Hub hosted a hybrid national event “Bulgaria’s Blue Economy Innovation and Digitalisation – towards higher resilience”. 

The main objective of the conference was to raise awareness on current European policies and instruments for the support of digitalisation and innovations towards higher resilience of the blue economy in Bulgaria. The presentation of European good practices and successful examples at national level aimed to present innovative ideas and experience, to promote public dialogue and to facilitate finding solutions to the challenges of the transition to a more resilient Blue Economy for Bulgaria through smart specialisation and digitalisation.
