Youth entrepreneurship for cultural tourism questionnaire - CulTourE4Youth

The EU funded ‘CulTourE4Youth - Supporting Youth Entrepreneurship in Cultural Tourism for coastal communities’ project is looking for Black Sea stakeholders who can complete a recently launched project questionnaire.

New ICBSS paper - How to effectively promote regional cooperation in the Tourism sector in the Black Sea Area

The International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) has recently published a new ‘Food for Thought’ paper on ‘How to effectively promote regional cooperation in the Tourism sector in the Black Sea Area’.

The publication follows a Workshop for Young Diplomats from the BSEC Member States, a joint initiative by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Turkey (KAS) in cooperation with the Permanent International Secretariat of the Organisation of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC PERMIS), which took place on 6-9 October.

'Blueing the Black Sea' - survey now open!

The World Bank-funded Blueing the Black Sea (BBSEA) Regional Initiative recently launched an open consultation (online survey) on the state of pollution of marine waters in the Black Sea.

Post Event - 11th Black Sea Symposium

The International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) successfully hosted its 11th International Black Sea Symposium, on "A collective recovery for the Black Sea Region in the post-covid era”, on 20 April 2021.

The online event was moderated by Dr. Gerasimos RODOTHEATOS, Public International Law Teaching Scholar at Panteion University of Athens.

Blue Economy Window call

On 25 November, the Executive Agency for SMEs organised an information day for the launch of the "Blue Economy Window" call that has a total budget of €2.5 million.

Watch the event online  

Under the 2019 call, organisations can get between €700,000 and €2,500,000 for their projects. Any for-profit SME based in the EU (single participant or a member of a consortium) can apply.
